Shows in the next month!

Don’t forget we’re playing some shows in the next weeks:

  • April 18: Bath, UK
  • May 1: Bochum, Germany
  • May 2: Berlin, Germany
  • May 3: Hamburg, Germany

We’ll be bringing lots of merchandise, like T-shirts and some rare CDs to each show, so bring some extra cash along! We always like to hang out at the merchandising booth and sign autographs and chat after the show, so if you have something you’d like autographed, do bring it along.

We’re also looking for someone who would be interested in helping us sell merchandising at the German shows. If you’d like to help out, and get to spend time backstage with us (and maybe even get a free T-shirt!), please send us a mail!

Another support act @ Bath

We’ve just confirmed another support for the Bath show: the rather good SPC ECO. New flyer below. If you live out near that area, do feel free to print out some flyers and spread them around!

Gigs in UK & Germany in May!

Sadly we’re not able to play Wave Gothic Treff this year, but by way of compensation we’re doing some gigs anyway! We’re doing three in Germany, and maybe one in the UK. Here’s the list:

  • 18 April – Bath, UK (tbc)
  • 1 May – Bochum Zwischenfall
  • 2 May – Berlin K17
  • 3 May – Hamburg Hafenklang

More details shortly, but mark these on your calendar now!

Sao Paulo review

Nice review of the Machina festival at Projeto D.Monia. Roughly translated it says:

Finally the long-awaited band Cassandra Complex entered the stage, producing a strong show in a perfect mixture between rock and electronics with a lot of guitars and synth sounds. The performance of singer Rodney Orpheus was memorable as he celebrated with the fans, dancing, playing on the floor, singing a crossover between post-punk and EBM with songs like “Moscow, Idaho”, “War against sleep”, “One Millionth Happy Customer,” “(In Search of) Penny Century,” “Second Shot”, “VALIS” among others. A show that mixed extreme professionalism, charisma and fun. Machinery and emotion to the umpteenth power. A memorable moment for all those who have listened to the tracks in years past … It would be unfair to define a band like Cassandra Complex by way of other artists but imagine Bauhaus meets Krautrock alive and kicking. Excellent, a memorable show.
